Left my roof leaking badly and refused to come back despite putting a 10 year warranty on the work. He doesn't know what he is doing, and operates under various business names (I have since found out, should have done more research).

Absolutely do not use this roofer, he created an issue in an area of the roof that previously had no problems and then refused to correct his own work despite putting a warranty on the work . We have had to get a new roofer at significant additional cost to put his work right

Avoid this guy. In his invoice he quotes a warranty on what he does. He gave me 5 yrs warranty on a part of the roof he did. The roof started leaking after 3 weeks. I tried more than 10 times or more to get him back to rectify, he kept ignoring my text, calls and messages. I even politely dropped a voice note

Avoid. Rickey Diamond proved to be completely unreliable. Took 6 weeks to replace roof section last October for a job he quoted 2 to 3 days. Failed to show up on the agreed start date and wanted 50% upfront and when eventually did start, left me with totally inadequate tarpaulin during very heavy rains (for 5 weeks,). Damage to ceilings and walls as a result. Failed to answer numerous calls and texts. When eventually new tiles were placed I foolishly paid the agreed remaining price. Very quick to contact me when chasing money. A week or so later the next rains resulted in worse leaks than before. Failed to respond and rectify. A trusted trader has since identified very poor workmanship and incompetence including unsuitable type of tiles for this roof.

Booked in for an estimate of roof repairs on a house purchase with a tight deadline. Agreed price for inspection and quotation, went through the pain of organising between Ricky, the seller and the estate agents and reconfirmed with Ricky well in advance only for him to pull a no show on the day without any notification. Wasted everybody’s time and made the purchase process a lot more difficult. Once clearly ignored his commitment, he proceeded to ignore all calls and texts even though we were friendly and reached out to rebook and gave him the benefit of the doubt. Incredibly unprofessional, time wasting, inconveniencing and disrespectful to customers - avoid at all costs.
