Sewage Treatment Plant (uk)
BIOROCK® offers a complete range of compact packaged non-electric waste water treatment plants in sizes from 6 to 25 persons for domestic use. Larger commercial systems up to 200 persons are possible using our standard 15 or 25 person units installed in parallel. BIOROCK® Systems are fully approved to BS/EN 12566-3 and the treated effluent is suitable for discharge directly to rivers and streams (subject to local approvals). In the case of discharge into drainage fields, the size of the drainage fields can me reduced significantly.
Revolutionary technology
The BIOROCK® System consists of a Primary Settlement Tank followed by the Treatment Tank which contains the unique BIOROCK Fibre Media. The Treatment Tank can also be fitted to other types of septic tanks such as traditional rectangular concrete units.
Cost-Savings for a Standard Domestic System:
The BIOROCK® non-electrical sewage treatment plant will save you between £300-£700 and over 0.6 tonnes CO2 emissions every year for 6 person plants when compared to the current UK market-leading Sewage Treatment Systems. BIOROCK® prices are no more than that of Biodisc systems.
Sustainability
The Best Final Effluent Testing Results
BIOROCK® Sewage Treatment Plants deliver a very high level of treated effluent. During the EN 12566-3 testing process over 48 weeks they achieved a 99% reduction rate. This is higher than any other plant in the marketplace within a similar price range. Discharge directly to rivers and streams is possible depending on local/national regulations.
