What makes us a specialist in brickwork?
It's that we specialise in all aspects of brickwork to high standards. There’s no aspect of our brickwork that we are not fully competent and professional in.
Our brickwork services range from new builds, garden walls, block work, brick restoration, which includes brick cleaning, tinting, pointing, stonework, paint stripping. We also have a high standard in patio work too.

What We Do
Brick Pointing
The pointing process involves cutting-out the old mortar in the gaps between the bricks, technical term "raking out". This is predominantly done with special dust retention tools and in some circumstances hand-used picks. we rarely try to use electric tools such as grinders as if we do we only cut the line of the middle of the bed to affect from damaging the brick and not taking the authenticity of the brick out. We only cut down to a depth of no less than 10 to 12mm.
Brick Cleaning
At NWL we are specialists in the brick cleaning of domestic and commercial properties. Often, decades of air pollution and weather exposure, have an adverse affect on the appearance and integrity of most exposed brickwork. This problem is easily addressed with a combination of our expert cleaning skills and precision pointing. By using a combination of high pressure-washers and specially mixed chemicals, we are able to clean and restore, all kinds of brickwork.
Brickwork
We at NWL Brickwork undertake all types brickwork, from heritage to fancy BBQ and new builds, we always take pride in our work and the finish that we give to our customers. Bricklaying can be very complicated at times but we are very competent and great at problem solving to great effect in all areas of our work.
Brick Repairs
All forms of brick work repair including replacement, stitching, stabilisation, resin bonding and remedial wall ties. Whatever the repairs needed, you can be assured that they will be in keeping with the existing property style.
We recommend the replacement of bricks with new or reclaimed bricks where the bricks are damaged or spalled. We do our utmost to ‘match' the existing bricks in every respect - size, strength, colour, texture and where possible the degree of weathering.
Brick Tinting
This service is most common within the domestic and housing sector, although is used by the construction sector occasionally. Tinting bricks is a service that has huge visual impact - it can be however, a little underestimated by some people. By this I mean when discussing brick tinting as a solution to potential clients there first thoughts are that we will simply tint a brick and once the English weather moves in they will find there drive ways and surrounding areas covered in dye... this is a million miles away from today's NWL brick tinting technology.
