General Painting
At Allison's Painters and Decorators Ltd our goal is to embrace all aspects of decorating and it can truly be said that we are all-rounders in the field.

We still stick to the conventional methods of painting and decorating and it is the very backbone of our operation, this is unlikely to change. Our qualified workforce all have the capability of carrying out the basics, i.e. good working practise in all things decorative but, of course, many continue with their training to become specialised in certain fields.

Floor Coatings
We are able to provide a complete range of floor coating solutions. This may be a relatively simple single part dust suppressant to plant rooms, through to tough two part epoxy coloured coatings, where durability is key, due to high volumes of traffic use. We can also provide non slip solutions to pedestrian areas both internally and externally.

We can supply and install internal floor coatings that have excellent adhesion to steel and concrete, are solvent free, low odour, durable, impact resistant and easy to clean and maintain.

Hygiene Coatings
At Allison's Painters and Decorators Ltd maintaining high levels of hygiene is of paramount importance and the paint finishes must be able to withstand rigorous cleaning regimes. Acrylic matt emulsion is the most commonly used paint in high traffic areas and wards as it is ‘low odour’, washable and easy to wipe clean. In addition, specialist hygienic coatings are regularly applied by our teams that are highly elastomeric and contain ingredients that prevent the growth of mould, bacteria and fungi on their surface.

Hygiene coatings provide a seamless finish that other alternatives such as vinyl just cannot match. Products such as wallglaze and Sterisheen have been successfully applied to hospital wards and theatres as well as other clean environments such as school and office catering areas.

Protective Coatings
We have access to the best technical advice available by working with some of the best specialist manufacturers in the UK. Our inspection teams ensure that all technical specifications are followed to be able to give our clients confidence that film thicknesses are actually being applied to provide the 10+ years maintenance cycles that they demand.

If a client is unsure of actual requirements we are able to work with our suppliers to produce a specification that will meet there 5, 10 or 25+ years life cycle requirements. We work with a large variety of paints and protective coatings to ensure the best possible finishes.

Wall Coverings
We hang all kinds of wall covering in all kinds of situations to hotels, schools and all areas in-between. From wide coverings for commercial use, to hand printed papers or a bespoke mural for the home, we are proud to have specialist paper hangers who consistently produce excellent results.
