I have been dealing with rates and rental for 5 years now. They have gotten me multiple reduction with multiple locations for my company (I cant name it due to review guidelines).

I see R&R have a LOT of negative reviews that say they never got their paperwork published but that doesnt make sense as it can be done in 5 minutes. Why would R&R take the time to come take pictures and measure up the business to then skip the 5 minute process to register for a reduction??

I asked R&R whats going on when a guy came and measured up the new office and he said its a bunch of competitors teaming up to try take R&R down. From what Im seeing on these reviews they all say roughly exactly the same story just spun in a little different way. No one has a unique story - thats enough for me to leave this review in hopes people read it and gain to confidence in R&R again.

The office I write my gaming content from was a little on the expensive side. Got in contact with rates and rental and was told they could get me a nice reduction and did.

Took a little longer than anticipated but I didnt actually do anything besides let them take pictures, they did the rest themselves without me so atleast it was a simple process and I probably would use them again.

They told me the delay was on the VOA side as that is who they wait for the decision from.

Although I was on the fence for a while, I decided (after much research) to take the plunge and see if my business rates could be reduced. The total process took about 5 months and my reduction is more than fair. I aim to make the money back spent on the surveyor within the next 8 months with a total saving of £1440per annum.

When your company contacted us out of the blue with a promise to reduce our rates but wanted a payment up front I was very sceptical. You have been true to your word and reduced our Rateable Value by 18.5%. This reduction more than covered your charges in the first year and now we enjoy an actual reduction in payable rates of around £ 3,000.00 every year. Thank you.

I didnt actually check any of these reviews online before signing the contract and paying up. A couple of weeks after signing I thought Id check and saw them and got worried.

Turns out I had nothing to worry about, within 2 months my reduction was granted.

My business rates have plagued me since I got this premises. I did a manual calulation of what to expect before I moved in and the actual cost is far different! I got rates and rental involved and they got the rates reduced inline with what I had actually calculated myself. Worth the money and happy to recommend them

Not had any issues with these guys. Paid them, they came and did measurements/photos then submitted the data to the VOA. Couple of months later I got a decision and the VOA decided in my favour and now my monthly prices have gone down for my business rates, simple really.
