Lee Whatling Builders

Lacklustre service. We found Lee Whatling to be hard to get hold of, and difficult to pin down. Definitely got the impression he had spread himself far too thinly, and was struggling to manage his workload, meaning everyone was left disappointed. The job started well enough, but soon slowed down and ground to a halt. Stopped replying to emails etc... Quotations for additional works were skyhigh, as he was at that point clearly trying to price himself out of the job, as he couldnt deliver on his promises. Would not recommend. Far better builders around in Norfolk.

Extremely disappointing service.
We employed Lee and his team to work on our large residential project. After a couple of months of good progress, during which time he was paid promptly (within 48hours) on all invoices, Lee stopped responding to calls or messages, and did not turn up to site for 5 weeks. We chased and chased, and were met with endless reasons (other sites needed more attention / his 40th birthday party / several holidays) why the work had not been carried out. When he had no reason why he had failed to complete something, he simply ignored those messages / texts / emails altogether.

Ended up replacing him with a new team who worked efficiently, quickly and politely. Definitely a case of you get what you pay for....

Would strongly advise NOT to use Lee Whatling Builders.
Overpromised, and total lack of delivery. Extremely disappointing.
