Our in house machine shop gives us a huge degree of flexibility, allowing us to manufacture items to your exact specifications to perfectly meet your needs. We are proud of the fact that we do not use CNC machinery and all of our work is carried out manually allowing us to provide a personal service to domestic and commercial customers, industrial galvanising companies, agricultural farmers and anyone who needs some high quality precision engineering. Expert shot blasting for homes and businesses
Shot blasting and sand blasting is a great way to give a new lease of life to your metal work. With over 40 years' experience, CS Engineering (Exeter) Ltd provides an expert service for customers in Exeter and the surrounding areas.
The process
Shot blasting involves blasting mild steel onto an item of metalwork using a hose and compressor. Our 250-CFM compressor allows us to give finishes up to an SA 2.5 finish. This process removes all paint, rust, and surface impurities from the metal work. We can then repaint your items making them as good as new.

Our workshop
Our blast room is more than 10 metres wide and 3 metres high allowing us to work on large items including entire car bodies. We have a blast cabinet allowing us to work on smaller, more detailed items. We then add a coat of primer to stop any surface rust developing.
