About Albion Electrical Ltd.
We are a north east based company, first established in 1998 as a sole trader, and we went to a limited company in 2007.We are full accreditation by the NICEIC (National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contractors) and the ECA (Electrical Contractors Association). We are also endorsed by the governments Trustmark approval scheme for maintaining a professional level of business and workmanship. This company also appears on the governments “Electrical Safety Register”.
The types of work we specialise in are Domestic, Commercial and Industrial electrical installations, and inspection & testing.
Albion Electrical Ltd has a wealth of experience working with national companies (P&O Trans European, Wincanton, Sims Recycling & Jacques Vert) to name a few.
As well as a comprehensive range of electrical services we also supply & install:
We’ve over 30 years of experience, so you can rely on us. We also offer a 10% discount for people who served/serve in the armed forces. On call all day everyday for your convenience. We’ve friendly, reliable staff for your comfort. We offer a 24Hr emergency call out service.
Domestic Electrician
If you are looking to rewire your home, add an extension or just need a light fitting installing. We always endeavour to carry out the work with as little disruption as possible, but with the knowledge that the work is been carried out by qualified tradesman. All relevant certification will be issued on completion of works.
Where domestic work is notifiable to the local authority in compliance with Part P of the building regulations. This is all done for you by ourselves free of charge. You can contact us to arrange a suitable time at your conveyance for a free estimates & advice on your requirements.
NICEIC Insurance Backed Warranty- for Building control notification only. The NICEIC Insurance Backed Warranty covers work done by resisted contractors with the NICEIC part P Scheme that 6 yearsis notifiable to building control. Should any work be found not to comply with building regulations and the contractor is no longer in business the NICEIC will have the work rectified by another NICEIC contractor at no extra cost to the customer.
Not all work is notifiable and if it is not notifiable it is not covered by the warranty.
Commercial Electrician
We can carry out all types of work on a number of commercial types from landlords (HOMS) to warehouses, so if you are looking for installation, maintenance or just a repair we have the experience to deal with you requirements.
We have carried out work in the past for a number of large companies including P&O Transuropean, Wincanton and Sims Recycling. We also worked on a number of local public houses, landlords, shops, the Diocese of Durham and local Schools.
We also carry out testing for insurance purposes:

Our testing and inspection engineers are there to spot any potential problems before they become a major problem. We always work around the client for the best time to carry out this type of work as we don’t want to cause any problems to your opening hours. We cover all of the North East of England but can travel further afield if required.
Home Alarm Systems
We are a TEXECOM and PYRONIX approved installer but can fit any alarm if you prefer a different manufacture. Alarms are a good in more ways than just peace of mind but as a good visual deterrent to your undesirable burglars.
