About FuturEnergy Ltd

FuturEnergy is a leading British wind turbine manufacturer and engineering company specialising in the design, production and distribution of micro wind turbines for the generation of renewable energy.

We have sold more than 6000 domestic wind turbines worldwide, via a network of distributors, and are highly regarded in the renewable energy sector for our innovative and technologically advanced designs.

Our aim is to harness energy from the wind efficiently, quietly and cost effectively. We undertake extensive research and development to produce high performance, micro wind turbines for the global marketplace, whilst maintaining rigorous control over quality and after sales service.

AirForce 1

1kW Wind Turbine
The new Airforce1 model incorporates the FuturEnergy in house designed and manufactured permanent magnet generator for efficient and durable production. The wind turbines have a 3phase (AC) output for rectification to DC. The Bridge Rectifier Kit REC02 £35.94 inc. VAT. is used to convert the turbine from AC to DC further along the cable run that also assists in avoiding voltage drop. Please refer to the relevant voltage download depending on your chosen system.

Weighing in at only 19 kilos our turbines are tower-top ready, and will fit on to a standard 50mm steel tube pole. We do not recommend 'building-mounted' installations other than on steel-framed buildings.

Your turbine will be supplied in 2 shipping cartons, weighing a total of 24Kgs, and you will be required to attach the tailfin and blades to the main turbine housing. For battery charging applications we recommend that you use a suitable charge controller to prevent your batteries from becoming overcharged.

All instructions are supplied to guide you through the simple assembly.

1kW Turbine Tower Kit
Our tower kit is designed to be strong and easy to assembly. With the use of special ground anchors, no concrete or foundations are required and the tower can be relocated if required. The tower is raised and lowered using a Gin-Pole of standard scaffolding tube dimensions.

The kit comprises of all the components (excluding standard galvanized scaffolding tube*)required to raise your 1 KW FuturEnergy wind turbine (not supplied with the tower kit) to a maximum height of 8 meters. The kit includes ground anchors that have been specified to meet the required loading capacity calculated from EN-61400 to withstand 50-year maximum wind speeds when installed in most ground conditions.

The kit also includes tube and Gin-Pole couplings, galvanized wire rope assemblies with tensioners, brackets and full instructions for assembly.

*Galvanized scaffolding tube (48.5mm O/D x 5mm Wall) is available from builders merchants. 2 X 3m and 1 X 2m lengths are required for the maximum 8m height.
