Thomson Ecology wins Construction News award!
We are thrilled to announce that Thomson Ecology’s “TIM” - Thomson Interactive Mapping - has won the Company Innovation of the Year prize at the Construction News Awards 2015.
TIM, described as "truly game-changing" by the judges, was declared the winning innovation, beating off the seven other competitors in the category including London Underground, J Murphy & Sons and Costain.
Tim Donoyou, Head of Geospatial at Thomson Ecology, who collected the award, said, “Winning this award is an amazing achievement, especially as we were in competition with some large companies with some fascinating innovations. TIM had already proved itself in the field through projects like East West Rail, but winning the Construction News’ Innovation of the Year award will, we hope, bring it to the attention of potential clients who haven’t yet had the opportunity to try it.”
