Fire Risk Assessment
A fire risk assessment is essential for any business in allowing you to identify any and all potential fire risks and hazards in your location, and allowing you to solve them before they become a serious problem.

The fire risk assessment is required to ensure that you have assessed the risk of a fire, and considered the safety of all workers and other people that may use, visit or be in the vicinity of your premises.

Construction site assessment
Hazard Risk Assessment can guide you through to CHAS, SAFEcontractor, Constructionline & EXOR Accreditation with minimum fuss and without major expense. A thorough and pragmatic approach ensures a smooth process to achieve the accreditation required of you by many major construction firms as well as councils, charities or other principle contractors.

Legionella L8 Assessments
The introduction of the L8 ACoP on the 8th January 2001 requires all persons responsible for any premises, other than private dwellings, with a water system to undertake a risk assessment of that system. The responsible person must keep records demonstrating that the system is maintained according to the L8 ACoP and to retain those logs for a minimum of 5 years. Risk Assessments must be reviewed every 2 years, whenever there is a significant change to the system or if there has been an outbreak of the disease.

COSHH Assessment
The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 require all employers to control any exposure to hazardous substances and protect anyone who may be exposed. There are stringent control measures that must be applied. HRA will ensure that your business minimises exposure to hazardous materials, and advise you on the best practice to keep this exposure to an acceptable level.

Asbestos Surveys
Asbestos is extremely hazardous, and if left undetected can pose a serious threat to people's health, let alone the legal ramifications that can come from negligence. That is why Hazard Risk Assessments will perform a full asbestos survey, and ensure that you can get ahead of any asbestos related issues before they can cause damage to your business.

Workplace Risk Assessments & PAT Testing
HRA perform risk assessment procedure in relation to any workplace environment involving a thorough examination of all aspects that affect employees. Evaluation includes noise, work methods, lighting, temperature, atmosphere, display screen equipment, manual handling, ergonomics, ventilation, welfare, vibration and security. Employers are required under the Health & Safety at Work Act to consider all risks to employees, visitors, and any other persons who may be affected by their activities, undertakings, or indeed omissions.

Health and Safety Legislation
The continually changing and evolving Health & Safety legislation requires constant and vigilant monitoring to ensure that all advice and recommendations to clients is current and up to date. We have done our best to create a list of legislation that applies to Health and Safety. Use this for your reference and if you have an issue that you feel we haven't covered, don't hesitate to contact us.
