Burmatex has recently completed a full independent assessment and certification of all production processes and products to establish its environmental impact and sustainability performance both during manufacture and in use.

Burmatex chose to use the rigorous Building Research Establishments (BRE) certificate of environmental profiles (Ecopoints) as the most comprehensive and relevant assessment of environmental impact within the construction industry.

Following the lengthy audit, Burmatex achieved an Ecopoints score on all manufactured products that equates to an 'A+' rating, the highest possible.

The environmental profiles score on burmatex products can be used in the BRE Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) to provide a credible and transparent environmental rating for a building's environmental impact.
