I used direct mini mix for concrete and screed but they put through 48 transactions on my credit card over a 6 week period, they had retained my credit card details which I never gave permission for them to do plus, they should never record or write down someone’s credit card details. When my statement arrived we contacted them, they did refund 45 of the invalid transactions amounting to more than £5,000 but disputed the 46th transaction despite me sending them a copy of the statement clearing showing their company’s name, the date and the amount. I would have thought with this dreadful situation and the fact that they had money from me for over a month they would have refunded all the invalid monies taken, given me some reason why they had kept my details and how this had happened. Would never use them again plus it has made me very wary about giving my details over the phone to companies that may not be following the rules!
