Flexi-Boll – Bollards that bend over backwards

This truly unique, flexible but rigid bollard is designed to outwardly look like a standard bollard, however when a force is applied to it special compounds in the polyurethane will deform allowing the bollard to bend up to 90 degrees. In fact the whole bollard can be run over and will self right in a matter of seconds. All this with little or no damage to itself and minimal or no damage to vehicles.

Bollards
Bollards are found today in many urban landscapes. They are mainly used to prohibit the use of vehicles within given areas. Often the use of bollards makes pedestrians feel less vulnerable to the passage of traffic in close quarters. Posts and Railings
Our rail systems are available in a wide variety of materials including Cast Iron, Ductile Iron, Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium.

Our railing systems can suit all areas, town centres, retail parks, bridges, locks and waterside developments such as marinas and esplanades.
Complying with RoSPA and DoT guidelines our designs of railings contrast from the traditional heritage cast iron to the contemporary stainless steel designs.

Litter bins
CIS offer a wide range of litter bins in a variety of materials including cast iron, steel, stainless steel and plastic. The range consists of square, circular, wall & post mounted, dog waste and a new on street recycling centre in both cast iron and stainless steel. For certain high security areas such as airports or shopping centres we can offer a bomb resistant liner to our cast iron bins.

Seating
CIS offer a range of bench and seat options in a variety of materials including cast iron and timber, steel, stainless steel and stainless steel with hardwood.
The seating range includes curved and circular options; many of the seats are made to DDA regulations with arm rests giving support.

From country parks to retail parks to town centres CIS offer seating options to suit all scheme, crests or logos can be incorporated into certain designs and commemorative plaques and engraving can suit different styles. Seats are supplied painted to a choice of BS or RAL colours.

Security
Given recent security issues concerning threats to specific targets, CIS Street Furniture have developed a range of products to prevent and protect against acts of terrorism, ram raiding, vandalism and to prevent unauthorised entry. Many differing products are available and materials include cast iron, steel, composites, Kevlar and glass reinforced resins. Installation information is included for all Ram raid bollards, telescopic bollards, bomb resistant litter bins, hoop barriers and kerb protection bollards.

Signage
CIS have worked closely with Local Authorities to design, manufacture and install a range of coordinated signage including finger posts and notice boards.

Signage is an integral part of any town centre regeneration. Manufactured on site in Ashbourne, Derbyshire CIS offer a range of finger post columns and provide finger signs to promote areas of interest and amenities within your area.

CIS offer a range of notice boards that can be coordinated with finger signs new or existing. Logos and crests can be added to give branding and cohesion across the town.

Shelters
We supply and install a wide range of secure cycle parking and storage for schools, universities and work places. Styles range from utilitarian to stylish, fully enclosed or open sided.

Modular designs and customer specified colours give an unlimited scope for finding the ideal solution to the safe parking of bicycles.

Planters
CIS offer a wide range of Planters in a variety of materials including cast iron, steel and timber, stainless steel and also a blend of stainless steel and Sapele hardwood.

The planters can also incorporate finger posts and hanging basket columns to provide beautiful and dual purpose street furniture.
