Kelsey Plant Hire was started back in 1994 but has a vision for the future.

Today the team continues with a dynamic commitment and our dedicated skilled staff provide an all important reliable, friendly and flexible service. We believe that even in this digital age of call centres and multi-depot operations there is still a real need for the good old fashioned ‘one to one’ customer service.

Our vision for the future is to provide nothing but zero emissions, electric and alternative fuel machinery solutions. We're on our way to achieving this goal with more than a third of our fleet being electric and hybrid already.

Kelsey Plant Hire has the UK's largest fleet of Ecovolve electric dumpers and a large fleet of JCB19C-1E battery mini-diggers, Takeuchi hybrid electric mini & micro diggers, Sherpa 100 Eco2 electric mini loaders and Truxta mini electric dumpers.

Our ELECTRIC range is available for nationwide delivery.

To builders, ground workers, landscapers, civil engineers etc. we naturally offer a wide range of diesel plant for self-drive hire such as: Excavators - ¾ tonne to 8 tonne. Dumpers – 1/2 tonne to 6 tonne. Rollers - 80 and 120. Telehandlers - 4m to 14m. Compressors to vibrating plates and a whole variety of other plant and machinery.

In this highly populated area of the UK space is at a premium and sites are becoming ever smaller. The tight working areas have increased the need for the use of compact machines; micro ‘doorway’ diggers, zero tail-swing diggers, tracked barrows, skip-loading dumpers, small 4-6m manoeuvrable telehandlers, all of which customers will find within our fleet.

Our depot is ideally centrally situated to service Gatwick, London, Sussex and Surrey and into Kent.
