Owen Scaffold Contractors

Owen Contractors - we are a combined Brickwork and Scaffold Contractor who supply a service to all the main Building Contractors across the South East of England. The company has been established for 24 years and employs over 350 personnel. We have also assisted with various other building companies in winning NHBC awards.

Owen Contractors has an annual turnover of £15 million pounds a year, whilst the scaffold company turns over an extra £3 million per year.

Owen Contractors Limited was formed in 1999 by the two current Directors, each of whom have a wealth of experience and knowledge in the trade.

Having started as a 2 and 1 we now supply in excess of 300 subcontractors to a large number of sites around Sussex, Kent and Surrey for a client base of many reputable companies, including Taylor Wimpey, Berkeley Homes, Kier, Morgan Ashurst, Barratt Homes and Fairview.

We also boast a Customer Care division with a dedicated management team, and direct operatives experienced in both fitting out and refurbishment within the private and commercial sectors. This division operates throughout the south east from Farnborough to Dartford and occasionally beyond.

The present management work together to ensure client satisfaction and quality products. The company’s prime objectives have always been to be conscious of clients needs and to be proactive. It is with these objectives in mind that the growth of the company has resulted in turnover topping £15 million.

Having started with residential and commercial work we now supply and erect scaffold on a large number of sites around Sussex, Kent and Surrey for a client base of many reputable companies, such as Taylor Wimpey, Tesco, Berkeley Homes, Bellwinch Homes, Rydon Homes, Barratts, Rokbuild, Ruskin Homes, Antler Homes and Coinford Construction.

The dedicated management team directly employ approximately 45 qualified scaffolders to NVQ level 3 and operate a small fleet of lorries with trained drivers. Our constant aim is to provide a service for our clients which meets their demands in a prompt and professional manner.

It is with these objectives in mind that the growth of the company has resulted in turnover topping £2.7 million.
