Rockingham Fender Seats Ltd
Club fender seats are a made-to-measure fireside seat that will enhance the look of your room. Fender seats take up very little room but - as well as looking stylish, contemporary or traditional - are also very practical: providing two or more additional seats.
Rockingham Fender Seats have been producing fender seats for over 25 years, here in our workshops in Peterborough, Cambs, United Kingdom. All our fender seats are lovingly hand crafted by our own skilled craftsmen, so can be finished to your exact requirements, whether it be for a period or a contemporary home.
We can help you with measuring and can even visit you to measure and discuss design and materials; please just ask. If you wish to use your own fabrics to upholster the seats - we can do that too. You can view our most popular fender seat designs, along with guide prices, on this website. We ship our products across the world; often delivering to as far afield as the USA and Australia.
If you have a club fender in need of repair, our craftsmen can - in most cases - carry out the necessary work, including full restoration to return an old faithful to its original condition. We can even adapt your existing club fender to fit a new home.
Our craftsmen also make bespoke low level fenders and fender guards, and we supply firecurtains, fireguards, fireplace accessories, firebaskets and firebacks of the highest quality. Our blacksmith and craftsmen also create beautiful wrought iron gates & railings.

Fire guards
As well as supplying fireside seating and low fenders, we also supply high quality fireguards as shown below. If you would like a size that is not shown we are also able to have them made to measure please just contact us for a quote. Most of the fireguards below are in stock and can be delivered within 2-3 working days. Made to measure takes a bit longer, usually 3 to 4 weeks. Delivery is extra, at cost. Size excludes feet and handles.
Mesh Fire Curtains
Usually in satin-black, but brass is available, these curtains are totally spark-proof. They prevent sparks flying from burning timber causing burn marks on carpets and rugs surrounding a fireplace. Sometimes preferred to fire-guards, as they do not need to be taken away and stored.
They fit best when they can be fitted inside the fireplace.This will hide the pelmet. To help us to give you an exact quotation, we need the size of the opening and the type of fitting you require (No. 1, 2 or 3).
