M+W Group is to deliver a £55 million research and manufacturing facility in Hertfordshire.

The company has been selected by the Cell Therapy Catapult (CTC) to develop its BioScience Catalyst Campus in Stevenage.

The CTC is part of a group of government funded independent centres called 'Catapults' designed to directly connect next generation technology businesses with the UK's research and academic communities.

The new facility will be able to manufacture late phase clinical trials and early supplies of advanced therapeutic medicinal products (ATMP's) including cell and gene therapies.
