Garden Affairs Announces New Range Of Summerhouses

Construction News Image
Garden Affairs, Wiltshire-based suppliers of high quality garden buildings throughout the UK, has announced a new range of summerhouses.

Available to order now, the new designs are handmade by British craftsmen from the finest Western Red Cedar, known for its durability and resistance to the elements. High cedar shingle roofs with elegantly cambered eaves and traditional leaded glass are a few of the features of this luxury range.

The summerhouses aren't just for use in warm weather. Available double glazed and insulated, they're designed to be enjoyed all year round – for uses from a secure garden office, a handy gym or creative art studio.

Timber building specialist Richard Squire is the founder of Garden Affairs and has long experience of what customers are looking for in a garden building. He explains: "These new designs retain all the well-loved architectural features of a traditional summerhouse, but many have been scaled down in size for the smaller garden. I particularly like the new oval shaped design, which is neat but spacious and is sure to become a popular addition to our range."

With exterior walls finished in a range of natural heritage colours to complement any garden, the new summerhouses have attractive high roofs. On the outside are sturdy cedar roof shingles which will naturally weather to a soft lichen grey. Inside, open ceiling trusses showcase the beauty, warmth and welcoming fragrance of a natural wood finish, and create a real sense of space.

Richard appreciates the high quality of these summerhouses. "It makes installation straightforward that every component is craftsman standard, from the real lead windows and solid brass hardware to the pre-treated floor joists! They come with a ten year guarantee, these summerhouses will be enjoyed by customers for many more years to come."
