Development of the Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) started at the end of March and is scheduled to be completed for May 2016.
The two storey facility will provide 26 beds in two wards of 12 and 14 beds, a central nurses' station and a seclusion suite along with a four bed Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

An education centre and recreational facilities will also be developed including an outdoor exercise apparatus.
The contract has been awarded on behalf of the Trust by Villicare, Ryhurst's joint venture with the Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP).
