Exeter Gets Keys To Further Success

The keys have been handed over for a commercial property in Exeter that will be used as a showroom – the next step in the growing success of local PVCu conservatory, windows and doors company Sun Shield Products.

Having served the South West with their company for over 20 years from its base in East Devon, Sun Shield has now invested in a building which will house a new custom-built showroom.

Situated very close to the Makro Cash and Carry store in the Marsh Barton area of the city, this new showroom is easily accessible from all parts of South Devon and further afield. It will open in June.

The highlight will be a full-size conservatory along with a garden scenario – including a decked area – which will show the quality of the products used in the manufacture of the conservatory itself, and the all-important style and quality of finish.

This conservatory will be situated on the spacious mezzanine floor, and Sun Shield Products has made the conscious decision to ensure this area, and the floor below, will not be crammed with products.

As Sun Shield Products' Marketing Director Mandy Newby explained: "We feel that it is essential for visitors to have the chance to see each of the products in detail, and in a relaxed atmosphere. Each of the products will be in a 'life-like' scenario, so there will be a chance to open and close windows and doors, and fully inspect them."

There will also be a small play area for children, so mums and dads can concentrate on the product range while the youngsters are otherwise occupied.

Apart from conservatories and replacement conservatory roofs, Sun Shield Products also offers a wide range of high quality PVCu windows and doors, along with a new range of composite external doors which offer the strength and rigidity of timber, but without the maintenance and durability issues.

Bi-fold doors with low thresholds (particularly suitable for those with mobility issues) will also be displayed, as well as patio doors and a stylish collection of French doors.

Managing Director Alex Newby concluded: "Work is now underway to transform this empty space into a showroom that will highlight the very best in conservatories, windows and doors. We are looking forward to inviting the public into what promises to be a special display of top quality doors, windows and conservatories."
