Anthesis Appoints Associate Director

Anthesis Group has appointed Katie Livesey as its Associate Director as it looks expand its construction and manufacturing services.

Ms Livesey worked at the Building Research Establishment for over 11 years and was head of the responsible sourcing certification business.

By recruiting Ms Livesey, the sustainability consultancy can offer a wider range of services to manufacturers, contractors, insurers and investors in the construction sector, including: carbon reporting and life cycle analysis; energy advice on ESOS and BES6001; resource efficiency; due diligence; sustainable procurement assurance; supply chain management and logistics.

Speaking on her appointment, Ms Livesey said: "We're keen to work with companies who take sustainability seriously and we're actively looking for new opportunities in construction."

CEO of Anthesis, Stuart McLachlan, added: "Katie's appointment builds on Anthesis' focus on supply chain management, product stewardship and sustainable chemistry. Responsible sourcing is becoming a high priority for many of our clients, many of whom are already facing challenges relating to the rising tide of legislative compliance as well as meeting tightening procurement requirements imposed on them by their customers."
