Garden Requisites

Garden Requisites is an award winning British manufacturer based in Bath, Somerset. We make porches, door canopies, window boxes, trellis panels, arches, planters and fireguards. All products are designed and made by us using a combination of high quality materials and highly skilled craftsmen.

Porches
A front porch is a statement piece that will add real value to your property, and our Scoop porch designs are available in any size for all types of external doors, including large porches for patio doors. For a more authentic feature on a period property, choose from our range of traditional designs such as a Georgian porch or an Ironwork porch. Customise your porch design with lattice panels, including straight lattice wirework, curved lattice wirework, circular iron columns or iron framework.

Door Canopies
Our door canopies offer wet weather protection and shelter for you and your door. Choose from a range of Scoop or arched door canopy designs in one of our standard sizes, or we can make to measure specifically to fit your doorway. We can also adapt all our canopies to accommodate any architectural features or light fittings that might obstruct the positioning of your door canopy. An over door canopy will also enhance and protect your back door, or choose a wider design for a patio door canopy. Combine your canopy with our matching wirework lattice trellis wall panels and planters.


Window Boxes
Our pared down window box design suits any style of property, from a country cottage to a city apartment. Providing robust and secure support for plants, these easy-to-install mini balconies can be used with our matching liners, or simply display your collection of plant pots for an eclectic look. The hand woven wirework balconettes are available in all of the finishes, or can be painted to suit your colour scheme.

Garden Trellis
Our zinc galvanized wirework trellis panels are available in many standard shapes and sizes, but can also be made to measure.

We make every product from solid steel, which is then hot dip zinc galvanized to form a rust-resistant, galvanized finish. Unlike wooden trellis, which requires hours of maintenance or will rot, our trellis is very long lasting and not as crude or obtrusive as wooden diamond or square trellis.

Wirework Arches
Our lattice wirework garden arches are available in a variety of arch designs and sizes, including a garden arch with single or double gate, and a wide garden arch to cover a larger path or garden bench. The wirework arch range is also available with matching arch side panels to create an interesting profile and provide additional garden screening where necessary. All heights specified are above ground.


Planters
We can create large planter pots or tall planters that are perfect for statement shrubs, or smaller planter pots for any location in your garden. Our planters are available individually or can be ordered as part of a set with a matching porch canopy, door canopy, garden trellis panels or garden arch.

Gazebos
Our beautiful wirework pavilion is no ordinary garden gazebo, but a beautifully designed and engineered structure created by our team of highly skilled craftsmen. The sides and sweeping roof are all hand made from precision made wirework panels, each discreetly bolted together to form an elegant focal point or destination for gardens or courtyards alike. We can modify the design to suit your requirements, just get in touch.

Fireguards
Our fire guards offer authentic and robust protection for you and your wood burning stove or open fire. Inspired by beautiful and practical examples of the past, we’ve developed this new range to enhance any style of fireplace. The Victorian nursery fireguard that was once made throughout Britain and graced many fireplaces is now only available from us. A fire guard from us can be made to measure and is available with optional side fixings – comprising wall eyelets and clips – as well as fine spark mesh liners for protection from open fires.
