About Modern Architectural Stone Ltd
The Company
Modern Architectural Stone Ltd was established in 2007 in the small coastal village of Cambois.
We manufacture all types of artificial stone using time served methods, all our products are made & finished purely by hand, With over 15 employees currently working as part of a dedicated motivated team. We pride ourselves with the quality of workmanship produced from our manufacturing plant in Cambois, ten of our current employees collectively have over 100 years experience within the Artificial Stone Sector.
The Product Range
As you will see we have an extensive range of standard products throughout the brochure, we also specialise in bespoke products offering a tailor made service to our clients. With bespoke orders, life invariably begins with an architects drawing or client’s sketch at which point this would be passed on to the pattern shop for the preparation of the mould from where the process begins passing through the various stages of our manufacturing process replicating simple or intricate designs to your individual requirements and quantities.
The Manufacturing Process
The tried and tested method of producing architectural masonry is adhered to vigorously in the manufacturing process. Each unit is produced by mechanical compaction methods using our special mix design, comprising of many different blends of aggregates and admixtures to achieve the perfect compound for a high quality long lasting product. This controlled process ensures that an accurate facing mix is achieved then hand finished by skilled craftsmen using traditional methods.
