We have continually grown year after year since 2011 when we established in Cardiff, where we started with 3 operatives. Now we currently engage over 25. Focusing on reliability, quality and flexibility, we are able to service major window suppliers, major building contractors and private individuals who are seeking a personal service. We are a professional installation company of windows and doors, specialising in composite, timber, aluminium and uPVC products.

Our expertise covers all kinds of window installation, including curtain walling, window walling and punched hole windows. We can either offer an install-only service or offer a full design, supply and install service for projects up to an agreed value. We also supply trained operatives for maintenance contracts.

We engage a large number of highly trained installers holding all the industry-level certifications, including CSCS, IPAF and PASMA. We have two dedicated installation managers who service all projects on a weekly basis, to make sure all projects are running as smoothly as possible. We also have our own site supervisors, all certified with SSSTS qualification, who liaise on a daily basis with their respective installation managers. Our skilled and experienced staff are able to offer the professional service our company thrives on.

Our project capability extends from the 10 sq mts to 10,000 sq mts. For a professional, quality service, you will find no better than ADCO!

What We Do

Maintenance

• Window/door adjustments and repairs
• Window conversions/configuration changes
• Window/door handle
• Replacing glass (broken, misty)
New, clean and presentable vans that carry a stock of spare parts to enable quick resolution to most cases
• We can provide extra operatives, if required, for urgent cases, to make sure these cases do not affect the usual lead times
• We can provide out of warranty works for the customer, which we can price directly
• We can also carry out works directly for the main contractor, because we normally have an account set up with them from our installation side of the business

Installation
We operate nationwide and specialise in new build commercial and residential refurbishment projects. We can supply numerous qualified installation teams, who can adapt to projects of all sizes, and tailor our services to suit all requirements.

General inclusions within our quotation will allow for the following:

• Supervision of deliveries
• Horizontal distribution of windows from a suitable loading platform
• Supply and fix of standard fixing lugs
• Supply and fix of Compriband 600 or silicone up to a maximum gap size of 15mm
• Supply and fix of expanding foam to the perimeters of the window
• All necessary fixings excluding chemical or stainless
• Full time qualified supervisor SSSTS and trade specific CSCS
• Regular site visits from our SMSTS installation managers

Health & Safety
At Adco Glazing, Health and Safety is a way of life. The most important asset of our business is our personnel and the safety of the people we work with, which for us are of paramount importance. We have an annual contract with Willow Safety Service Ltd. (BSc (Hons) MSc, MCIEH, CMIOSH), who carry out site audits, site inspections, tool box talks and prepare our relevant safety documentation and systems.

To support the importance we place on Health and Safety of our company, the managing director, site supervisors and service engineers are also trained first aiders. We are also very proud to be Construction Line accredited, details of which can be found on the Construction Line Database.
