Firth Sheet Metal Ltd. has been providing quality sheet metal products and ductwork systems to both private and commercial customers for almost 50 years.

Built on a reputation for providing quality products and excellent services, and supported by a team of skilled engineers, we design, manufacture, install and commission ductwork systems for heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) throughout the UK.

We also provide a bespoke sheet metal fabrication service. Using CAD three dimensional drawing plus computerised plasma cutting for all metal parts, we offer a complete service from design through to manufacture, installation and commissioning.

Our flexible service means that we have a wide range of customers including catering and hospitality, pharmaceutical companies, power stations, airports, hospitals, schools, leisure facilities, nightclubs, bars and casinos, the food industry and retailers.

Ductwork
We have many years experience in designing, manufacturing and installing first class sheet metal ductwork for heating, ventilation and air conditioning. We supply both private and commercial customers with a complete design, manufacture and installation service, utilising CAD three dimensional drawing and computerised plasma cutting of all parts. Our ductwork is manufactured with the renowned CGF rolled on flange, recognised throughout the world for excellent leakage prevention (within the TM1 allowable rates). We supply both standard DW144 ductwork and two fire-rated products Promat DURADUCT® LT and Flameshield®. This combination of our quality and innovative products makes ducting from Firth Sheet Metal quicker, neater, safer and stronger.

Construction & Industry
We work with some of the country's leading mechanical engineering companies, delivering major construction projects throughout the UK. These projects demand high and exacting standards, often requiring a fire-rated ductwork system. We are one of a handful of companies in the UK, certified to supply and install two types of fire-rated ductwork, Flameshield and Duraduct, both compliant with BS 476: Part 24.

Retail & Leisure
The ever present danger of fire in public areas is a prime concern for many of our clients, which is why they chose one of our certified fire-rated ducting systems, Flameshield and Duraduct.

Our extensive experience in designing, manufacturing and fitting approved ductwork makes us one of only a few approved suppliers in the UK.

Small Works
In contrast to the large project work we also provide a "small works" service which has been supplying local businesses with sheet metal fabrication work for almost 50 years. This includes kitchen extraction systems, shopping fitting and bespoke fabrication.

We pride ourselves on providing a flexible service. Our friendly and skilled team will assess your job, provide a quotation and then manufacture and fit. Our fully equipped 700m2 workshop provides a quick turnaround from quotation to completion.

Services

We provide a flexible sheet metal working service, from design through to installation and commissioning of the system.

DESIGN
We work to customer supplied designs or offer a first class in house design service and use the latest in CAD three dimensional drawing to bring designs to reality.

MANUFACTURE
With almost 50 years sheet metal fabrication experience we have custom made stainless steel solutions for a wide range of customers including private and trade customers, local restaurants and hotels, local authorities, hospitals, leading supermarket chains and power stations.

INSTALLATION
Whilst some of our customers prefer to install our fabrications themselves, others will require a full service from design to installation. We are flexible and happy to accommodate your requirements.

COMMISSION
Once your ducting has been installed it is important that the correct amount of air is flowing through your system during normal operation to ensure you are receiving optimum performance from your system.
