Box Sash Windows
The traditional box sash window has been around since the 17th century and amazingly the design remains almost unchanged. Traditional sash windows operate via a mechanism consisting of cords, pulleys and weights for counterbalance.

Traditional Timber Windows have a wealth of experience in the manufacture and installation of wooden casement windows in both traditional and contemporary styles.

There are many different design configurations of casement windows that we are proud to be able to replicate depending on your bespoke requirements. We ensure that the materials are of the highest quality and our years of experience and knowledge ensure that we use only the best and most durable fittings. Yorkshire Sliding Sash Windows
Here at Traditional Timber Windows we’re able to replicate almost any style of the classic Yorkshire sliding sash windows found in many a period property and in combining traditional styling with modern draught proofing techniques we ensure your windows are not only aesthetically correct but also energy efficient.

We can replace the entire window or just the sashes provided that the existing frames are in good enough condition. We also offer a range of historic window furniture and glazing options to ensure that your new windows will blend in perfectly with any existing period features.
