About Delta Tool Hire and Sales
Delta Tool Hire is an independent, family run hire company with a long and established history within the power tool and plant hire industries.
Started in 2001 by David Shaw to compliment his already established power tool sales arm, Delta Industrial Ltd, Delta Tool Hire is a flourishing and friendly supplier of power, plant and access hire for both the proffessional and domestic hire market.
David has a long history withing the power tool industry, with over 35 years experience in the selling and hiring sector. Delta Tool Hire is very much a family run business, with two generations currently working within the business. All of our staff have been with us for a number of years, with Steve our Hire Manager from the very beginning, Ryan his Deputy, training with us straight from school and Jamie our Tool Sales Manager.
All our team are passionate and knowledgeable about the our products, the industry, and the diy market. We pride ourselves on the high level of service we provide, our commitment to keeping on top of the market, and the quality products that we supply.
We offer flexible and practical solutions for all your hiring needs, be they on site, in the home or in the garden. Offering everything from 'one off' hires for the day, week or month, to long term account hire and equipment supply.
Within our wide range of hire equipment we have brands such as Bosch, Dewalt, Makita, Nilfisk Alto, Belle, Ace & K, Fairport and Numatic.
Repairs and Warranties
Routine maintenance and service of your tools and equipment will prolong life expectancy. We have a fully equipped in-shop tool repair workshop for portable electric and petrol equipment. Click here for more info and for collection service
PAT Testing
Health and safety regulations require that electrical appliances are safe to prevent harm to workers. Many types of equipment require testing at regular intervals to ensure continual safety; the interval between tests depending on both the type of appliance and the environment it is used in. We can PAT test tools in our workshop or onsite testing can be carried out dependent on location.
Chainsaw Regrinding
We can regrind your blunt chainsaw chains in our workshop. Most chains are sharpened on a sameday turnaround unless we are extremely busy which will then mainly be next day pick-up.
Saw & Planer Blade Sharpening
We offer a resharpening service for sawblades, planer blades, router cutters & chisels. Turn around is generally approx 5-7 working days.
