Central Compressor Services are celebrating our 20th year of reliable and high quality service to industry. We specialise in energy efficient compressed air systems and implement a wide range of technologies to ensure our customers reduce both their costs and carbon footprint. CCS offer free data-logging and surveys and are a registered supplier with the Carbon Trust Loan Scheme.

Our team of experienced service technicians respond to emergency breakdowns and perform servicing on most air compressors. We hold a large stock of used air compressors at our Hertfordshire site. We also recondition V-major and V-compact compressors for export. We supply Gardner Denver Compressor parts / spares which includes CompAir, Hydrovane, Reavel, Bellis and Morcom, Deck and Joy Compressors.

Carbon Trust Loans
The Carbon Trust are offering no-cost loans for businesses that want to make themselves more energy efficient. One of our consultants can conduct a free energy survey to establish the potential for savings and the possibility for the Carbon Trust to lend you the entire capital cost of the air compressors.

Compressor Heat Recovery
Our installation engineers always look for cost effective ways to make your compressed air production more efficient. An excellent option is to capture the waste heat from the compressor if a suitable process can be identified.

The waste heat is recovered from the oil circulating inside the compressor via an oil to water heat exchanger and then piped to the process in need of heat. This technology has significantly reduced payback periods and our customers' carbon footprints.

Compressor Servicing
Central compressors operate from Welwyn Garden City in Hertfordshire. As well as serving air compressors in Hertfordshire, our engineers service compressors around a 60 mile radius; CCS are often servicing air compressors in Bedfordsire, Buckinghamshire, and much of London if you have an urgent breakdown requirement. In particular we have a high density of clients with air compressors in Park Royal, Watford, Luton, Hertford, Hemelhempstead, Stevenage, Ponders End and Brimsdown. Our engineers service all makes and models of air compressors including CompAir, Hydrovane, Atlas Copco, Ingersoll Rand, and HPC screw compressors. We can service piston compressors, screw compressors or Hydrovane compressors.
