Thanks to innovative engineering and design, the name Masterhitch has become synonymous with quality, value for money and customer satisfaction.

In 1995, the company was awarded a major prize at the National Innovation 2000 competition for an ''Outstanding Contribution to Construction Technology''.

Since 1992, Masterhitch Europe Ltd has undergone major strategic expansion, to broaden the range of products and services available to customers. During the 1980s, the Managing Director investigated the major selling quick-hitch systems commercially available. Disappointed with the inadequacies his investigation revealed, Masterhitch was formed to design, develop and produce a truly user friendly system.


The Company has quickly become a significant national supplier of standard pin buckets and wear parts to original equipment manufacturers, distributers and end users alike. In addition, Masterhitch offers a comprehensive design and fabrication facility for special projects, and a full workshop and on-site repair and fitting service is available for all products.

During the latter half of 1996, following requests from the market, we expanded our product range to include manually operated hitches as an alternative to our current hydraulic ones. Adaptor plates were also introduced, allowing the utilisation of Standard Pin Buckets with our Hitch. These items allow us to enter a new market area, which our forecast review has identified as having significant sales potential. We have also looked at producing a new General Purpose range of Standard Pin Buckets which will further extend our market reach.
