We are a friendly family-run company who have been established in Stanford-le-Hope since 1987. We offer a wide range of products, from contemporary to traditional bathrooms, wet areas, accessories and tiles. We also offer a kitchen design and installation service using the same team of installers and tillers, etc.

Trevor, who started the company in 1987, was a kitchen and bathroom designer and installer for 25 years before opening the business, and Lee, his son, who has been in the company for 24 years, know the best and most workable ways to design and install your new bathroom or kitchen.

Everyone who works for us aspires to work to the same high standards as Trevor, and this is the main reason for our continuing success. All of our installation team have worked for us for many years. Our installation manager, Graham, has worked with us for 22 years, and, being a fitter himself, he knows how the installation should run and how the finished job should look.

What to Expect from Us
We would rather spend as much time as necessary with you in choosing your bathroom equipment and tiles to ensure that you are happy with your choice and the finished result.

Most of our installations will take five days, but this depends on the size of your bathroom and what equipment you are having. Every installation is different, however, and you may need to be prepared as on some occasions it may run into the next week. Most work starts on Monday morning, with your new bathroom finished and ready to use on Friday evening.

Showers & Enclosures
When considering what shower or taps to install, we need to know a few details to recommend the correct shower and taps for your house. Is your water system high pressure or gravity fed? Do you have a Megaflow system? Do you have a combination boiler? The answers to these questions will determine whether you need high- or low-pressure taps or thermostatic showers for your system to work correctly, or if a pump such as Salamander or Stuart Turner pumps will be required.

We only use resin/stone shower trays, and keep well away from the plastic styles that move and leak. Shower enclosures and trays are available in many sizes, ranging from 700 mm x 700 mm to 1700 mm x 800 mm in rectangle style, and are also available in quadrant, offset quadrant, bow front and several more styles, most trays being as thin as 40 mm. Wet rooms are another consideration, and we can fully install these to most bathrooms.

Showers are: Aqualisa, Mira, Grohe, Ideal Standard, Triton.

We have many accessories on display to complement your bathroom, and are able to source most accessories that we do not have on display. We prefer to supply good quality accessories to suit most budgets, many made from chromed brass that will last for years.

We can refurbish most wash rooms in schools, clubs, hotels, factories, office units, etc. We can design and install wash rooms to suit your budget, creating a finish that is almost maintenance free, very easy to keep clean, and cost effective. Fitted Kitchens in Essex
At Ultimate Choice Kitchens & Bathrooms we offer a full design and installation service from start to finish. We will visit your home and discuss your requirements, then return to our Stanford-le-Hope showroom and create a CAD drawing of your new kitchen.

When this is completed, we will ask you to visit the showroom and go through the design, where we can make any alterations required to reach your goal.

Our installers have had over 25 years experience in kitchen installations, and the team, including our ELECA-registered electricians, plasterers and tilers, will complete the installation. We are members of the Consumer Protection Association (CPA) and are Trust Mark accredited.
